The Transition Networks S4224 is a rack-mount Carrier Ethernet switch intended for service-provider and enterprise access applications. The unit offers 24 x 100/1000Base SFP ports and 4 x 10G SFP+ uplink ports. The rear panel shows management, console and USB interfaces, Sync-E and IEEE 1588 timing connectors, and both AC and DC power input provisions (see photographs).
Description
This listing is for a single Transition Networks S4224 Carrier Ethernet switch (model S4224). The switch supports SFP-based 1G access ports and SFP+ 10G uplinks, and is intended for rack installation. The device was removed from a working environment as part of an IT decommissioning project and is offered as shown in the photographs.
