Broadcast Audio Amplifier Harris AES6800 B with ARG6800 BMF Module

The Harris AES6800 B Broadcast Audio Amplifier is a high-performance digital audio distribution amplifier module, part of the new 6800 series. This advanced audio device is equipped with cable auto-equalisation, data reclocking, and incoming data error detection with reporting capabilities. It incorporates front-mounted LEDs and supports external alarm reporting.
This distribution amplifier adheres to professional standards, meeting AES interface protocols such as SMPTE 276M, AES3 1992 (revised 1997), and AES3 id-2001. This ensures reliable performance ideal for broadcast, cable, production, educational, and auditorium applications where affordable AES/EBU digital audio signal distribution is essential. Setup and monitoring of the AES6800 can be done locally using DIP switches or remotely on a PC via a serial RS-232 or an optional ICE6800 Ethernet connection.
The Harris AES6800 offers flexibility and superior audio quality while maintaining low operational costs. Its design ensures easy integration into various environments requiring efficient audio signal distribution. 

The device came as part of the IT decommissioning project and was removed from working environment.
