HFC PON Deep Fiber Optical Receiver, Optilab iRCVR-4, Compact Design

The Optilab iRCVR-4 is a compact and efficient HFC PON Deep Fibre Optical Receiver, designed for versatility in various applications such as Hybrid Fibre-Coaxial (HFC) networks, Passive Optical Networks (PON), and deep fibre installations. It utilises a broadband PIN diode coupled with a low distortion RF amplifier circuit to ensure superb Carrier-to-Noise Ratio (CNR) and maintains optimal Composite Second Order (CSO) and Composite Triple Beat (CTB) distortion specifications. With a high optical gain and minimal input requirement, the iRCVR-4 remains highly effective even at -8 dBm input levels, delivering 49 dB CNR and an RF output level of 23.7 dBmV.

The device came as part of the IT decommissioning project and was removed from a working environment.
