The Miranda Technologies 16-Channel CWDM Optical Mux Module with LC Connectors is a passive optical multiplexer. It allows multiple optical signals at different wavelengths to traverse a single optical fibre strand. This device is designed to conveniently integrate with the Miranda Technologies FIO-1901 and FIO-991p series of optical and electrical converters, but it is equally compatible with other products that operate with CWDM wavelengths, such as Miranda Technologies’ NVISION routers. The CWDM mux unit combines up to 16 different wavelength signals from various optical fibres into a single optical fibre. It is entirely agnostic to the signal type, supporting different signals like AES, MADI, DVB-ASI, 3G/HD/SD SDI, or Ethernet within the same fibre link.
