Description
The Gefen EXT-HDMI 1.3 to 3G-SDI Converter is a professional-grade device that seamlessly converts a single HDMI input signal into SDI, HD-SDI, or 3G-SDI formats. It supports high-definition and ultra-high bandwidth outputs. The converter provides HDMI audio/video signals in SDI format through two SDI BNC connectors, with up to eight channels of HDMI audio integrated into the output signal. Additionally, RCA-type L/R analogue audio output jacks allow for monitoring of the primary two audio channels from the HDMI source. LED indicators offer diagnostic assistance by displaying HDMI and SDI signal statuses.
Simply connect an HDMI source to the HDMI input and an SDI device to the SDI outputs. The included power supply connects to the converter, facilitating audio and video signal conversion to connected A/V output devices like displays and audio receivers. The built-in DIP switches allow for configuration of Sampling, Colour Space/Colour Depth, and EDID Management settings. Note that PC video formats are not supported, and the converter does not scale video.
